Built in 1952 and lovingly restored by generations later, without rush and without compromise. Seven years of careful restoration – not to make the house perfect, but to keep it true to itself. Here, nothing new was built; instead, the old was preserved with respect for those who built it from nothing. It was named after the nickname of the family who built it: the Kokoti. People who, as the granddaughter says, “sang through their hardships” and are remembered for their songs, not their struggles.

The interior of the house evokes a sense of times gone by. Every item here is there for a reason. A wooden table, checkered curtains, a crucifix on the wall, an old clock, bed linens from grandma’s wardrobe. Every item has its own story and none demands your attention, but each will receive it. The yard is alive, in full bloom, filled with small scenes that create a feeling.
